Summer Session $1000 Winner

Chris J. Was our summer session winner here at Waukee. He was a dedicated 5am student whom showed up with determination and ready to workout for the day. During his 10 weeks Chris only missed 1 day out of his 10 weeks! Chris is a fantastic addition to our Waukee location, he is already signed up for FIT and eager to coach the 5am crew this fall session.

They have been members here at FXB for quite some time, almost 3 years! They joined to get back in shape and regain their strength. Their favorite part of Waukee Farrell’s is the program structure and the kickboxing of course.

The “Trinity” wine, cheese and bread

They attend the evening classes 4:30pm or 5:30pm because of the great instructors and how it fits with their schedule. They generally attend classes together so they can hold each other accountable.

Staying FIT Through Pregnancy!

Making a lifestyle change and carving out time for daily workouts with two young children, ages 4 and 2, is no small feat. It took support from the whole family. My husband was inspired by my results (really, he was just jealous of my energy level and confidence) and began his 10-weeks during the next session. Our family was all in – making good food choices together and finding active ways to spend time together. Rather than putting life on hold while we worked to get healthy, we were going to get healthy while living life!

Farrell’s Has Been One of Our Best Decisions!

As a stay-at-home mom/in-home daycare provider, my days are spent surrounded by children, and having four children of my own, my nights are spent pretty much the same way. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my children, LOVE my life and LOVE running an in-home daycare. But, that being said, I do sometimes miss adult interaction.
